Although a newer company for Schlemmer – first became the factory authorized distributor in early in 2018, Schlemmer is not new to the infrared temperature measurement business.  We’ve been successfully selling, installing, commissioning and certifying IR temperature systems since 1972. The most popular IR instruments within the Optris line are thermal imaging camera systems and double laser spot pyrometers.  The instrument choices are primarily dependent on the application, however, either system can be used in a variety of industries such as steel, food, plastics, paper, etc.. If one needs to accurately measure the temperature of a product or process and can’t touch it, IR measurement is the typical choice.
